Step by Step Salon Style Manicure at Home | Tutorial

Hi Everyone, today I am going to show you how to get a Salon Style Manicure easily at home. A few days back I had posted a review on the Pink Mani-Pedi set from Forever21.com(https://cinderellaindiannailart.blogspot.in/2016/09/forever21com-mani-pedi-set-review.html). I have used few of the tools from this kit for this tutorial. Manicure is a really simple beauty treatment to pamper your finger nails and hands. I am going to show you how you can get a Salon Style Manicure at home in just a few simple steps. Follow these steps to Prep your nails perfectly before you apply Nail Enamel. Let's get started.

Products Used:

• Nail Clipper (from Forever21 Mani-Pedi Set)
• Cuticle Trimmer (from Forever21 Mani-Pedi Set)
• Cuticle Pusher (from Forever21 Mani-Pedi Set)
• Cuticle Nipper (Forever21.com)
• Nail Cleaner Brush (from Forever21 Mani-Pedi Set)
• Vega Nail File
• Vaseline Petroleum Jelly
• Vaseline Moisturizer
• Lakme Nail Polish Remover
• Hydrogen Peroxide Solution
• Salt
• Liquid Soap
• Paper Napkins and Cotton Balls

Remove the old nail polish using the Lakme Nail Polish Remover.

Step 1 (Trim and Shape) :

         Trim your nails if required with the nail clipper. Now give your nails a desired shape using the nail buffer.

Step 2 (Soak) :

         Take a small bowl and fill it with luke warm water. Now add 1TSP salt, 1TBSP Hydrogen Peroxide Solution and some quantity of liquid soap. Mix it well until it foams up. Salt helps in strengthening the nails where as the Hydrogen Peroxide Solution cleans the nail beds. It basically absorbs all the dirt from the nails.

         Now soak your hand in this solution for 5-10 minutes. You will have the nail beds cleaned and cuticles softened.

Step 3 (Cuticles) :

        Take some vaseline petroleum jelly and apply it onto your cuticles and wait for a few minutes. Now take your cuticle trimmer and gently move it around your cuticles. Now take a cuticle nipper and trim the cuticles. If you don't wish to cut your cuticles then use a pusher to gently push back the cuticles.

Step 4 (Clean and Moisturize) :

        Clean the Nail beds with a cotton ball. Now apply your favourite Moisturizer onto your hands. I have used the Vaseline Moisturize for a smooth and soft look.
